We implemented strategies and exercises for both voice and body, including:
- Physical Awareness: Understanding body mechanics and implementing exercises for better body alignment.
- Breath Control: Learning breathing techniques for better breath control and to combat nerves and tension.
- Understanding All Body Components: How our energy, interaction, and emotional intelligence impact the team.
- Building Confidence: Helping individuals and the team find confidence in themselves and their interactions with their teams and on all public speaking platforms.
The Results:
The team experienced significant improvements:
- Improved Body Alignment: Leading to muscular core strength which supports the breathing mechanism.
- Improved Vocal Technique: Enhanced breath control, vocal stamina, and projection.
- Breathing for Self-Regulation: Techniques like 4/2/6 breathing for nervous, tense, or heightened situations.
- Body Language: Better understanding and application of body postural awareness to hone appropriate body language and non-verbal communication.
- Confident Presentation: Honing all techniques to enhance confidence in all public speaking settings.
In Conclusion:
We were delighted to re-visit the Accenture HR department and meet new team members. It was wonderful to see the improvement in their body-voice connection and confidence in their communication and presentation skills.
